Virat Kohli Spends Quality Time with His Anushka Sharma

Team India started off their tour of England in a brilliant manner as they won the T20I series by a 2-1 margin. They won the 1^st and the 3^rd T20I to win the series quite convincingly in the end. They suffered a hiccup in the 2^nd clash but stormed back to winning ways with another resounding performance in the final T20I of the series. The visitors have played some terrific brand of cricket in the recent past which has seen India winning 8 consecutive T20I series.

The Men in Blue will now square off in a 3 match ODI series starting from 12^th July. They will again start as favourites and will look to seal yet another limited overs series. Captain Virat Kohli has been in superb form across formats. He will be a very important member for the ODI series and will look to score some important runs in English conditions ahead of the World Cup in the same country next year.

Kohli became the only batsman in the world to score more than 500 runs in a bilateral series. It came in the 5 match ODI series against South Africa. He scored 556 runs which included 3 centuries. Even in the Test series against the Proteas, he smashed a sensational century in Cape Town. However, he didn’t quite perform upto his standards in the two-match T20I series against Ireland and the 3 match ODI series against England.

Kohli’s time with Anushka 

Kohli will look to score some runs in the Test series especially after a bad time in the tour of 2014. He as slated to play in the County Championship. However, it didn’t materialize in the end as he was down with a neck injury. In the 4 days break India had, Kohli was seen spending some quality time with his wife Anushka Sharma.

Taking to his twitter handle Kohli shared a picture with Anushka and captioned it, “Day out with my beauty.”
