Aaron Finch is showing great form ahead of the upcoming Australian summer by smashing unbeaten 117 off only 52 balls while playing for Surrey against Middlesex in England’s Vitality T20 Blast.
Meanwhile, Finch brought his fifty off just 16 balls to hand Middlesex a nine-wicket defeat while chasing 222. Aaron Finch struck eight sixes and 11 fours during his sixth T20 hundred, and second in this T20 Blast.
Finch along with Jason Roy added 195 runs in just 13.5 overs before Roy departed. The duo absolutely ran over the Middlesex bowling hitting them all over the park. Finch was 48 not out after three overs and they were 98 for no loss at the end of the powerplay.
Finch’s partnership with England opener Roy, which was the 12th-highest in T20 history and the second-best in English domestic T20 cricket, surpassed their own Surrey record of 187, which they registered in 2016 against Kent.

The 31-year-old, Finch is the leading run-scorer in this season’s T20 Blast, with 462 runs at an average of 154. After Roy’s departure, Nic Maddinson accompanied Finch until they won the match. Maddinson (13*) struck a massive six off Tom Barber to win the match.
As a result, Aaron Finch finds himself third in the list of most hundreds in T20 cricket. Windies opener Chris Gayle holds the pinnacle spot with 21 centuries.
Three batsmen namely Michael Klinger, Luke Wright, and Brendon McCullum hold the second place with seven centuries.

Furthermore, Aaron Finch along with his suspended Australia teammate David Warner finds themselves in the third spot with six T20 centuries.
Previously, Middlesex rode on opener Paul Stirling, who hit 109 runs in the visitors’ 221-5. That score equalled Middlesex’s record total in T20 cricket with their skipper Eoin Morgan returning with a duck. James Fuller also chipped in with unbeaten 37 runs at the fag end of the game.
Rikki Clarke was the pick of the bowlers for Surrey returning with 2 for 43 in his four overs.
