Wasim Akram Serves Legal Notice to Imran Khan's ex-wife Reham Khan

Former Pakistan legend, Wasim Akram along with three others served a legal notice to Journalist and film producer Reham Khan after she reportedly disclosed about the couple’s sex lives in her upcoming book, titled as ‘Reham Khan’.

According to TOI, the latest book includes details of her interactions with various celebrities and also her marriage. Further, a Law firm based in West London issued a “pre-action defamation protocol” to Reham on May 30.

The notice sent by her first husband Dr. Ijaz Rehman, cricketer Akram, a British businessman, Syed Zulfiqar Bukhari, and Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) media coordinator Anila Khawaja, claims that she defamed them in her autobiography.

“This is grossly defamatory, indecent and disrespectful to our client’s late wife. Wasim Akram is an internationally well known former Pakistani cricketer and media personality who is being acknowledged by cricket experts and fans as being one of the best test fast bowlers in the history of first-class cricket,” the notice stated.

According to the legal notice, Reham held her first husband Dr. Rehman responsible for several failures in their marriage.

Moreover, the notice provides Reham with 14 days to meet various conditions to avoid further action.

Further, she has to remove the defamatory passages and give it in writing the that the allegations in the manuscript are false and will not be there in the book.
