The Indian Premier League is already in full swing. We are already into the 4th week of the tournament. Most of the matches have been really intense. Even yesterday we witnessed a crackerjack of a contest. It was Mahendra Singh Dhoni who played a special knock against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Bangalore scored a mammoth 205 in their allotted 20 overs. It was a brilliant partnership between Ambati Rayudu and Dhoni which eventually helped CSK win a thriller in the final over of the match.

In the 26th match of the tournament, it was Kings XI captain Ravichandran Ashwin who won the toss and elected to field. It was Ankit Rajpoot who bowled a sensational spell to put the host on the backfoot from the outset. He bowled a sensational delivery to send back in form batsman Kane Williamson back to the pavilion. It was a huge wicket especially given the fact that Williamson has been in sensational form all through the tournament.

Brilliant delivery to send back Dhawan

Ankit Singh Rajpoot of the Kings XI Punjab celebrates the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan of the Sunrisers Hyderabad during match twenty five of the Vivo Indian Premier League 2018 (IPL 2018) between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Kings XI Punjab held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on the 26th April 2018.

The wicket of Shikhar Dhawan in his very next over totally put Hyderabad on the backfoot. It was a well directed short of length delivery which opened up Dhawan totally. He was cramped for room and ended up giving a catch to the slip fielder Karun Nair. It was a brilliant catch by Karun. He deserves the equal amount of credit as the bowler for the dismissal.

He also bagged the wicket of Wriddhiman Saha in his next over to reduce the hosts to 27/3. Meanwhile, after the dismissal of Dhawan, Rajpoot got animated and was seen hurling an abuse towards the batsman. Given the fact that how big a batsman Dhawan is it might not go down well with the teammates.

Earlier in the tournament, it was Nitish Rana who also hurled an abuse towards Virat Kohli after castling him with a good delivery.
