Watch: Dwayne Bravo Releases New Song 'Helicopter 7' On The Eve Of MS Dhoni's 39th Birthday

Former India skipper MS Dhoni turns 39 on Tuesday, July 7 and the celebrations have already begun. His IPL teammate Dwayne Bravo has given him a special birthday gift by releasing his song ‘Helicopter 7’ on the eve of the Chennai Super Kings captain’s birthday.
After teasing MS Dhoni’s fans with short glimpses of the song, Dwayne Bravo finally released it on social media platforms just a couple of hours before the wicketkeeper-batsman’s birthday. The West Indies allrounder is not only the composer of the song but has also written it.
“So the wait is over!! @mahi7781 you’re truly a great inspiration to a lot of ppl around the world. As we get ready to celebrate you birthday, on behalf of my team, my fans and your fans we wish you gods blessings. the helicopter is off,” Bravo wrote as he launched the song.
Bravo covered MS Dhoni’s inspirational journey in the song. From MS Dhoni’s humble background, Sourav Ganguly’s decision to promote him at number three, his job as ticket-collector to becoming one of the ‘greatest-ever’, Bravo’s song is a perfect tribute for the veteran cricketer on his birthday.
“This kid from Ranchi, they call him Dhoni. He make India proud, creating history. Let’s say thanks to Ganguly for letting him bat at No. 3. That’s where he scored his first century and that was the start of brand Mahi He started as a ticket collector. Now he is one of the greatest ever,” goes Bravo’s lyrics in his song for Dhoni.
Earlier, the allrounder had announced he would release the song on MS Dhoni’s and he fulfilled his promise. The way the fans have received the song, one can say that it could become viral just like his famous song ‘Champion. The video has already crossed more than 1,30,000 views on YouTube at the time this was being written.
