After losing the toss once again and asked to bat first once again in the ongoing third T20I, India openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul came out all guns blazing. Mumbai has always been a high-scoring ground and with West Indies being the opposition, Rohit Sharma and Rahul made sure to give the team a flying start.
In the second over, Rahul hit Jason Holder for two fours to break the shackles before Rohit Sharma dispatched Sheldon Cottrell for two fours and a six in the very next over to set the momentum. By the time the fourth over ended, India had raced away to 44 without loss. Rohit Sharma started the fifth over in the same manner by hitting Khary Pierre’s first ball for a six as India completed the 50-run mark.

The second ball of the fifth over was also sailing over the cow-corner before Evin Lewis pulled off a sensational piece of fielding. Pierre bowled a short delivery and Rohit Sharma pulled it flat with great force. At that time it looked like the ball would land in the stands. However, before it could cross the rope, Evin Lewis made a timely jump to catch it,
But since the momentum was taking him over the boundary, he threw the ball in the air and had to jump over the ad boards to avoid damage to himself. He then came in the field of play to throw the ball to the wicketkeeper and he nearly ran out Rohit Sharma who was ball watching and perhaps could not believe the unbelievable effort from his former IPL teammate.
