The social media has been flooded with photos, videos and memes since India thrashed Pakistan in the World Cup. While the entire world was expecting a classic game, India made it a lopsided affair. The Men in Blue thrashed their arch-rivals by 89 runs to register their third win of the tournament. And among many of those viral videos, the latest one that is doing the rounds is that of allrounder Imad Wasim.

Asked to bat first, India openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul gave their side a solid start. The two looked at ease right from the start and added 136 runs for the first wicket. Wahab Riaz gave Pakistan the much-needed breakthrough when he dismissed Rahul for 57. However, it did not bring any respite for Pakistan as Rohit and skipper Virat Kohli once again sent them to a leather hunt.

And with no plan working, Imad Wasim seems to have requested Kohli to get out. The hilarious video that has gone viral on social media shows Imad Wasim talking to Kohli with his handed folded as if he was asking the India skipper to give his side some respite. Well, one Imad Wasim and Virat Kohli can reveal the intention behind the gesture, the fans have inferred that the Pakistan allrounder was praying to the India star to throw away his wicket.

Talking about the game, India posted a huge total of 336 for 5. Rohit Sharma top-scored with 140 while Virat Kohli scored 77.

In reply, Pakistan failed to provide any sort of challenge to their formidable opponents. Barring the 104-run stand between Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam, they never really looked in contention to chase down the total. They eventually finished on 212 for 6 in 40 overs, thus losing the game by 89 runs (DLS method).
