Watch: Jake Ball Takes A Stunner To Send Back Shikhar Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan’s T20I series ended without much success as the southpaw could score only 5 runs in the ongoing third and final game.

He had entered the series on the back of a good 74-run knock in the Ireland T20I. Prior to that, he had scored a stunning century in the one-off Test against Afghanistan.

However, he is yet to show that sublime form in the testing conditions of England. The southpaw could score only 4 in the first T20I in Manchester. In the following game, he managed just 10 before the latest failure. But this time around, there was not much he could do as Jake Ball took an absolute stunner to send him back.

On the first ball of the third delivery, David Willey bowled one on Dhawan’s pads. The ball was there to be hit and Dhawan duly obliged. With the short fine leg inside the crease, Dhawan flicked the ball. He failed to keep the ball grounded but the ball still looked set to go to the boundary. However, Jake Ball had some other plans as he dived to his left to take an absolute stunner.
