Mumbai Indians pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, on Monday, tried to copy the bowling styles of several others and the result was as hilarious as it could get. The right-arm pacer might have one of the toughest and most complex bowling actions in international cricket but it is safe to say that the India star struggles big time when it comes to copying far simpler bowling actions.

Mumbai Indians posted a clip on their official YouTube channel on Monday where the pacer could be seen trying out different bowling style. The franchise also asked the fans to predict the bowler whose action was being copied by Jasprit Bumrah. Well, the pacer did not really do well but few fans still managed to predict the bowlers’ names.

The first bowler was Lasith Malinga, followed by former Australia pacer Glenn McGrath. Jasprit Bumrah then switched the hands and sides as he tried out Ashish Nehra’s style and it was perhaps the worst of the lot. He then tried out actions of Kedar Jadhav, Anil Kumble and Shane Warne.

Here is the clip posted by Mumbai Indians:

IPL 2020 is scheduled to start on September 19. Mumbai Indians, who are the reigning champions, will lock horns against last year’s runners-up Chennai Super Kings in the first game of the tournament. Mumbai Indians will be expecting a lot from Jasprit Bumrah this year since they are without their all-time leading wicket-taker Lasith Malinga.

The Mumbai-based outfit do have a good pace attack with the likes of Nathan Coulter-Nile, Trent Boult, James Pattinson, Hardik Pandya in their ranks. The Rohit Sharma-led side is eyeing a record-extending fifth IPL title. Last year, they became the first team to win the IPL four times.
