Kevin Pietersen, on Monday, brutally trolled Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad while being live with him on Instagram. With no action going on at the moment, the former England batsman has been going live on social media to interact with the cricketers and the fans.

Previously, he went live with Indian cricketers Yuzvendra Chahal and Rohit Sharma. And while the live sessions with Chahal and Rohit went smoothly, it was a bit different with Ahmed Shehzad. Kevin Pietersen grilled the right-handed batsman for his poor show in this year’s PSL.

Ahmed Shehzad had a very poor PSL. Playing for Quetta Gladiators, he scored just 61 runs in 7 matches, 12 being his highest score. He has also fallen down the pecking order in Pakistan team. He was recalled in the senior side for the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka on in 2019 but was dropped for the next series after scoring just 17 runs in two matches.

Speaking about his poor form, the out-of-favour Pakistan batsman said that he was not comfortable batting at number three. However, he didn’t complain to the team management. In reply, an unimpressed Kevin Pietersen said, “You don’t want to bat 1, 2 or 3. You can’t bat 4 or 5, you go bat at No. 13 for the Quetta Gladiators next season. You won’t even bat 13 for the first team, you can bat at that position only for the third team.”

Kevin Pietersen was not done yet and lashed out at the batsman again after asking him what was he doing in the northern part of the Lahore. Giving an answer to that question, the 28-year-old said that he was there to quarantine. An irritated Kevin Pietersen then hilariously told Ahmed Shehzad:

“Sorry you’re talking so much nonsense, it goes in one ear and out the other ear. Same as when you were in the dressing room. You talk so much nonsense you don’t know when to listen to you. You ramble too much.”
