Watch: KL Rahul's Incredible Shot For A Six

KL Rahul looks like a man on a mission in the ongoing T20 International series against Sri Lanka. The right-handed batsman has lost his place in the playing eleven of the Test and ODI teams following some poor outings but got the much-needed opportunity in the ongoing series. And well, it is safe to say that the Karnataka star has grabbed the opportunity with both the hands so far.

In the first game in Cuttack, he top-scored for the hosts, scoring 61 to lay the platform for a big total and the opening batsman has begun the proceedings in the ongoing second game in the same style. Rahul began the proceedings with the bat on a steady note, scoring eight off the first 10 balls he faced before deciding to take on Dushmantha Chameera in the fourth over. The first ball was miscued by Rahul, but it landed safely, and he was able to score a couple of runs.

The following two balls did not yield any run before the 25-year old played the shot of the evening so far. Chameera bowled one on the good length and would have never expected the shot which was to follow. The India batsman slightly walked out of his crease and decided to go all the way with his lofted shot. The result- a beautiful shot that made the ball sail well over the stands at wide long-off.
