Watch: MS Dhoni Enjoys His Time with Family

Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is known to be a family man. His love for dogs is also very well known among his fans and well-wishers. As he enjoys his much-needed rest away from the game, Dhoni shared a slideshow video with pictures of his family and his trusted dogs. He was enjoying his time with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva.

Meanwhile, Dhoni and Kohli have been rested from the ongoing Nidahas Trophy also featuring Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Even fast bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah along with all-rounder Hardik Pandya has also been given a break.

The Men in Blue has been playing non-stop cricket for a long time and it was a much-deserved break for the permanent members of the limited overs team.

Dhoni has retired from the longest format of the game long back but still continues to be the first choice wicket-keeper batsman when it comes to limited overs format. Despite not being the same old Dhoni, he is still a force to reckon with and has shown in patches that what he is capable of even today. He has been sensational behind the stumps and with age, reflexes are becoming better.

There is no doubt about the fact that Dhoni will continue to don the wicket-keeping gloves at least till the 2019 World Cup. However, it remains to be seen who emerges as his longtime successor given the fact that Dinesh Karthik is also in the twilight of his career.

Meanwhile, the former skipper will be seen leading a team yet again after a long time. With the return of Chennai Super Kings, Dhoni will be seen going out for the coin toss yet again. He will be wearing the same old yellow jersey, and he will be hoping that CSK wins their 3^rd title after a two-year suspension.
