It does not matter whether his side wins the World Cup or loses an important game, the talismanic cricketer makes sure that he treats the ups and downs in the same fashion. And one such instance was once again witnessed on Sunday (April 15).

The World Cup-winning skipper had nearly pulled off a miraculous win for Chennai Super Kings against Kings XI Punjab. The Super Kings were looking well out of the contest while chasing a daunting 198. However, Dhoni played one of his finest IPL knocks before Punjab registered a dramatic four-run victory. The 36-year old battled lower back pain to take the match into the last over with a blistering 79 off 44 balls.

The knock deserved to come in a winning cause but the game of cricket can sometimes be cruel. However, the type of man he is, Dhoni quickly moved on from the heart breaking loss. Following the game, he was seen spending some time with his wife and daughter. As usual, the legendary wicketkeeper batsman sported a wide smile on his face as he played with Ziva.
