Watch: MS Dhoni's Young Fan Refuses To Hug Him

MS Dhoni is one of the most popular cricketers not only in this cricket-obsessed nation but also in the entire world. His unprecedented success as a player and a skipper has made him the poster-boy of Indian cricket. Unsurprisingly, he is treated nothing less than a demigod by the cricket-crazy Indian fans. So there is little denying that each cricket fan in India remains desperate to catch a glimpse of the World Cup-winning skipper.

No matter where he goes or what time it is, Dhoni is always mobbed by his fans. However, it seems like not everyone is desperate to meet or hug the legendary cricketer. Dhoni was recently in Mumbai and was spotted playing a charity football match in Juhu earlier this week. He later interacted with the fans and had obliged them with photographs.

During that very tour, he made a kid who was with his parents. And while the parents wanted their kid to spend some time with Dhoni, the kid was not interested in it at all. In fact,  Dhoni even asked the kid: ‘Aaogey (Will you come?)’ before walking away.

Dhoni, meanwhile, is currently gearing up for the upcoming series against Australia. He is a part of both the T20I and the ODI squads. Dhoni will be looking to continue his red-hot form with the bat.

Things have fallen in place so far this year for Dhoni after a forgettable 2018.  The former India skipper had managed to score just 275 runs in 20 ODIs last year. His strike-rate and average in 2018 was his worst-ever in a calendar year since his debut in 2004. However, Dhoni has started the World Cup-year on a bang. He scored three consecutive fifties to guide India to a historic series win in Australia. He also did well in the subsequent series against New Zealand.
