One of the leading pacers of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Indian Cricket Team, Navdeep Saini came up with a deadly beamer in the last over of the first innings against Rajasthan Royals (RR). Navdeep Saini smashed Rahul Tewatia with a beamer on the second ball of the 20th over.
Royal Challengers Bangalore took on Rajasthan Royals on Matchday 15 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). Winning the toss, Rajasthan Royals decided to bat first. Initially, Rajasthan started on a high but the Bangalore bowlers brought their team back in the game. Rajasthan eventually finished on 154-6 in their 20 overs, courtesy a Mahipal Lomror gritty knock.

On the second ball of the 20th over of the Rajasthan innings, Navdeep Saini came up with an out of the box beamer. The ball was bowled at a serious pace and hit Rahul Tewatia on his chest. Tewatia was down immediately and seemed in a lot of agony. Saini was quick to apologize as he walked up to the batsman and spoke to him.
Rahul Tewatia was quickly back on his feet after the team’s physio conducted the concussion test on him. On the very next ball, Rahul Tewatia smashed Saini for a huge six and avenged his hurt in style. It will be interesting to see as to who comes out on top as the winner of this match will certainly go on top of the IPL 2020 points table.
