The Under-19 cricket is seen as the breeding ground of future international stars. Some of the biggest current cricketers like Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson, Steve Smith and Sarfraz Ahmed first grabbed the limelight at this level only. Well, if it so then it is safe to say that Pakistan’s Saad Khan is on the right track as the youngster took an absolute stunner during the third and final Youth One-day International (ODI) against Australia.

The game saw some brilliant individual performances from the Pakistan colts, but the highlight of the match was a catch from Saad. The hosts were 228 for 6 in pursuit of 310 when Saad took a stunning one-handed diving catch to send back Cameron Green.

Left-arm spinner Hassan Khan bowled one at the middle and off stump which Green tried to hit it over the covers by making room. The right-handed batsman made a good contact with the ball which was looking primed to evade the fielders and cross the boundary ropes. However, Saad had some other plans as he made a full dive towards his left and caught the ball with just one hand while still being in the air before being mobbed by his teammates.

Meanwhile, Australia were restricted to 260 for nine after Pakistan scored 309 for 7 in the allotted 50 overs. The Boys in Green won the three-match series 2-0, having won the first game before the second one was abandoned due to rain. Both the teams will be next seen in action in the upcoming ICC Under-19 World Cup.
