A two-year-old boy namely Ali from Bangladesh was named as the ICC Fan of the Week on Thursday (July 26). The infant’s dad had shared a video which was uploaded by the world cricket governing body’s ICC digital.

Moroever, it was a rare sight. Ali who has floored many with his batting ability, his offside technique is simply superb.

Moreover, the way he is hitting and the timing the ball, is enough to indicate that he might well turn out to be a professional cricketer in the upcoming decade or two.

While sharing the video, ICC wrote, “He’s only two, but his off-side technique is absolutely gorgeous. Strike a pose Ali – you are the ICC’s Fan of the Week. With some more throw-downs from dad, you could very well be playing for Bangladesh one day.”

Ali’s batting skills were simply remarkable. It was bound to get viral and in this generation, it was a surety. The little boy from Bangladesh will aspire to become a Bangladesh cricketer in the upcoming future.

Many young talents have impressed in the past:

Young talents from the subcontinent have taken social media platform by storm. Just a few months back it was a young six-year-old leg-spinner from Pakistan, who was seen bowling some exceptional leg breaks and wrong uns on his terrace.

Well, the amount of turn it generated was simply overwhelming. It eventually left everyone awestruck.

Around a year-and-a-half ago another video surfaced where a five-year-old Indian was seen batting in a Under-14 match. Can you imagine? It is not the first time that underaged children have made quite an impact in senior cricket.

Maybe he didn’t have the power but his technique was impressive. Moreover, he looked a class act at such a tender age.

Meanwhile coming to the ICC fan of the Week, the two-year-old Ali in Bangladesh will definitely look to perfect his off side display. His father has been supporting his instincts. He should take him to an academy once he reaches a reasonable age.

As for now his off side display is sensational. But if he plays cover and extra cover drives so efficiently at this age imagine what he will do when he is will be 15 of 20?
