His wedding with Anushka Sharma last year perhaps played a big role in his character transformation. The India skipper is now rarely seen losing his cool on the field. The wild celebration after reaching century has become a thing of the past now. However, a few years back, things were completely different.
Kohli had carved his own niche in the Indian society with his fearless approach on the field. His body language, his modern attitude was just perfect to appeal to this generation. The India star represented the next stage in India’s transformation and became an instant crowd hit.

Anusha Dandekar, the famous video jockey, asked Kohli several questions during the interview which was more of a rapid fire round. During the interview, Kohli faced several tricky questions and answered all of them sportingly. During the interview, he revealed that his then crush was Genelia D’Souza.
Dandekar had asked Kohli to name the Bollywood actress he would like to watch play the game of cricket. In reply, Kohli had said:
“Genelia …because she is cute.”
