There will be cricketers who see the game as their career while there are few who does anything for their passion. Meanwhile, the all-rounder, Sanjana from Kerala falls under the second category.

Although the floods are being very fluent in Kerala, the cricketer was quick in saving her cricket kit rather than throwing herself into the boat that came to help her during the floods.

Explaining the situation, the Kerala cricketer Sanjana quoted she and her family woke up during the night to see their building getting filled with water altogether. Their ground floor was full of water and thus they couldn’t leave the home.

However, the boats were at the help for Keralite where she threw her cricket kit first into it rather than saving herself or her family. Despite the severe situation, she didn’t think of anything else apart from cricket.

Meanwhile, the other Kerala fielder in the Indian troop, Minnu Mani added her family lost all the paddy-fields which are their source of living. She also added their new house which is in the construction stage has also vanished.

“When the boats came to rescue my family, the first thing I took was my cricket bat and kit!” Sanjana told ICC. ”The paddy fields that were the source of livelihood are ruined. We’re trying to make a new home, but it also vanished,” Minnu added.

However, Kerala is facing all kinds of trouble in the world. They have been struck with the significant flood flow that left people a thousand homeless. A few of them lost their lives while few people are doing their best to overcomes the issues.

For the first time in history, 27 dams in the state had to get open. Never before had Kerala witnessed such a calamity of that scale. In the fight against the flood, the state management is doing their best to avoid the odds.
