After batting first, the Windies were all-out on 271. The hosts lost Evin Lewis early at a team score of 29.

It was a well-versed partnership between Hetmyer and Powell that led the Windies to put a formidable total on the board. Hetmyer scored a brilliant knock of 125 off 93 balls while as Powell scored 44 off 67 balls.

Apart from the duo, no other batsman could capitalise the innings after getting a good start.

In reply to the total, Bangladesh got off to an excellent start, however, in the end, they went through a sudden collapse. Tamim Iqbal once again managed to provide a good run, as he scored a classy half-century.

Half-centuries from a dangerous duo Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim followed it. Tamim Iqbal scored 54 off 85 while, Shakib scored a handy knock of 56 off 72 balls.

Mushfiqur Rahim lost his precious wicket in the final over off Jason Holder which added woes to the Bangladeshi dugout.

Jason Holder bowled the final over

After clubbing 20 runs in the first over, the hosts’ skipper leaked runs in the 48th over of the match as well. He gave 13 runs in the 48th over that set a platform for Bangladesh to get a convincing victory.

However, things did not go as Bangladesh would have imagined. In the final over, Holder decided to bowl again while there were mere eight runs required.

He started off with a full-toss that miraculously rule out Mushfiqur Rahim. However, after that, he bowled a tight line with plenty of Yorkers that helped the Windies win the game and level the series.
