What an incredible series it has been for Windies against England at home. They have been stunning in all sections of the game, who just completely dominated one of the best teams in the world. Jason Holder-The Skipper led the team from the front to make things fall in place but unfortunately, ended up receiving a ban. Meanwhile, Shane Warne isn’t impressed with the call.

Windies have managed to wrap the series in just three days by winning the game with 10 wickets to spare. Despite finishing in three days, the rules haven’t rested, as they found Windies short of few overs thus handing a suspension to the skipper. According to the rules, a team is supposed to bowl a particular number of overs at a certain rate on each day of a Test match and Holder’s West Indies did not do the same.

Can You Please Appeal Jason Holder – Shane Warne

Meanwhile, the Australian former cricketer Shane Warne asked Jason Holder to appeal against the decision. He feels that they have saved a couple of days in the match, which is more important than not finishing the overs in a stipulated time.

Further, he also termed that the decision of was ridiculous by the respective officials. Meanwhile, the skipper of Windies Jason Holder thanked Shane Warne for his kind words. To which, Shane Warne replied that it is his pleasure.

His tweet read ”The test didn’t go 3 days – can you please appeal this @JaseHolder98 ! What a ridiculous decision – where’s the common sense here ? Ps Congrats on a wonderful series win too. International cricket needs a strong Windies team & hopefully this is just the start Brian Lara?”

Replying to Holder’s thanks, Warne wrote ”Pleasure ! The fans at the ground saw some awesome cricket from you & your team. No one at the ground would have felt short changed whatsoever. What a ridiculous decision & I hope this will be over turned.”

Holder was named a man of the match after making an unbeaten 202 and taking two wickets in the 381-run win in the first Test. It was a performance, which took him to the top of the ICC rankings for Test all-rounders. Holder claimed 4-32 to help bowl England out for 132 in Antigua on Saturday before West Indies sealed the victory with two days to spare.
