Hard-hitting allrounder Yusuf Pathan might have faded away from the big stage in recent times but the Baroda star was lauded by one and all on Wednesday (October 19) for his heartwarming gesture. The 34-year old posted pictures of himself exchanging sweets with CISF security personnel at the airport and became an instant hero on Twitter. In the pictures, Yusuf is seen spending time with the jawans.
“Salute to the #jawans who are working even on the festival day. We exchanged sweets at the Baroda airport on the occasion of Diwali. #HappyDiwali,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Pathan will be looking to bounce back to the red-hot form that he displayed in the first Ranji Trophy game this season when Baroda takes on Tripura from November 1 in a crucial Group C encounter at Vadodara. The allrounder, who last played for India way back in 2012, began his season with twin centuries against Madhya Pradesh before managing just 1 in the following game against Andhra Pradesh.
