Former India batsman Yuvraj Singh just loves to pull the legs of other cricketers on social media. It does not matter whether the cricketer is his former teammate or not, everyone gets the same treatment from the batting legend. And the World Cup-winner was at it again on Thursday.

India youngster Shubman Gill was in the firing line of Yuvraj Singh this time around. It all began after Gill took to Instagram to post a couple of pictures of himself from the third ODI against Australia and express his delight over representing the country.

The right-handed batsman had to warm the bench in the first two ODIs as India preferred Mayank Agarwal as opener alongside incumbent Shikhar Dhawan. But after India lost both the games and conceded the three-match series, it made a spate of changes in the playing eleven.

Shubman Gill replacing Agarwal was one of the changes. The young opener did not score big but looked impressive during his short stay at the crease. He hit three fours and a six during his 33-run knock and also shared a 56-run stand with India skipper Virat Kohli.

Yuvraj Singh trolls Shubman Gill:

After the end of the match, Shubman Gill took to Instagram to post a couple of pictures from the game. In one of the photos he was seen standing alongside Kohli during their partnership while in the other, he was standing with his teammates with his hands in his pocket.

Posting the pictures, he wrote: “Great feeling representing my country”

This is when Yuvraj Singh decided to pull the youngster’s legs. The former cricketer noticed Gill standing with his hands in his pocket and wrote:

“Indeed a pleasure batting alongside the great @virat.kohli ! Maharajjeb vicho kado India da match chal reha club da nahi (rougly translated to: Why are your hands in your pocket? You are playing for India, not a club).”
