Yuvraj Singh Sends Special Birthday Wishes to VVS Laxman

Yet another stalwart player in the Indian cricket spares his time to wish Very Very Special player of India, VVS Laxman. The stylish right-handed batsman is celebrating his 44th birthday on Thursday and his dear friend, Yuvraj Singh takes to his Twitter panel to wish him a good one.

VVS Laxman and Yuvraj Singh have always shared a great rapport between them. The duo played together in many ODI series in the past, and then they continued their bond while working for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League.

The stylish southpaw in his tweet to Laxman termed VVS Laxman as his Very Very Special Friend. Further, he also called him the legendary batsman for team India as well. He concluded it by wishing Laxman a brilliant day.

On the work front:

Yuvraj Singh has appeared for Punjab in the recently-concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018. However, he hasn’t impressed the selectors to find a place in the Deodhar Trophy 2018.

It seems like the route for Yuvraj’s comeback into the team doesn’t look great, as selectors prefer youngsters in most cases. Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh was in the contention when team India was struggling for the number four batsman in limited-overs cricket.

However, Ambati Rayudu sealed the spot thus calling curtains on the hopes of Yuvraj Singh. Meanwhile, Yuvraj wasn’t also the part of the Punjab Ranji Squad, that got announced for the upcoming Ranji Trophy 2018/19.

Coming to the birthday boy, VVS Laxman is busy with his commentary stints and is working for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League as well.
