The former India captain who now serves as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President, Sourav Ganguly recalled his maiden hundred which came at iconic Lord’s. The southpaw shared the picture of him alongside Rahul Dravid on social media. Meanwhile, the Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh finds a flaw in the picture and asks BCCI President to be professional in a light manner.

Following the failure on international debut, Ganguly did not play another match for India for more than four years but made a comeback to the team for their tour of England in 1996.

Ganguly hit a stroke-filled 131 in his maiden Test at Lord’s and followed it up with 136 and 48 in his 2nd Test in Nottingham. In difficult batting conditions, Ganguly shone with elegance, announcing his arrival to international cricket.

Please be professional – Yuvraj Singh to Sourav Ganguly:

The BCCI president relived those special days on social media captioning ”Fantastic Memories.”

In reply to Ganguly’s post, Yuvraj wrote, “Dada logo to hata lo! Your BCCI President now. Please be professional.”

It seems like Yuvraj wants to highlight the growth of Ganguly from a player to become the president of the BCCI, which is one of the richest cricket boards in the world cricket.

As Ganguly termed, it was a special knock from the former Indian skipper who showed his class with the bat. Back then, ahead of the series, the British Media and also a few critics of India termed that Ganguly was in the team only because of his father, who is a higher official in CAB.

But, Ganguly left them speechless with his stunning century at Lords on debut and followed it up with another century in the next Test. As they say, great people have great stories to tell and it was one of those.
