Meanwhile, Yuvi’s friend and former England cricketer, Kevin Pietersen posted a clip on Instagram recently. It was hilarious, as the guy in the store can be seen trying out different shoes by running around wearing them. The activity looked suspicious, and hence the staff members in the store followed the guy to stop him. To everyone’s surprise, the guy ran back to the store, as everyone around realises the poor soul was trying out his new pair of sneakers.

According to Yuvraj, his ex-teammate, Ashish Nehra reminds him of a similar character. Yuvraj tagged Nehra’s wife on the post since the cricketer doesn’t use social media at all. Pietersen is yet to respond to the laugh riot.

However, the South Africa-born English cricketer has always been known for his personality. He recently raised his concern on the lack of entertainers in the game as well.

“I really struggle to see entertainers, they’re lacking in the game,” Pietersen was quoted telling BBC Radio 5 live’s Sportsweek. “Kohli is an exception. But otherwise pure entertainers and superstars are not in the game, and that’s a big worry,” he added.

According to Pietersen, a bit of spark is good for the game. He feels youngsters will be motivated to take up the game and therefore, unfortunately, he doesn’t see too many active players with such character.

“Maybe it’s a generational thing, but the sad part is that quite a few of those former players are commentating, but they are not in the game of cricket. You want those superstars attached to franchises, national sides and academies so that youngsters get inspired to be those people,” he said.
