Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal engages in a funny conversation with teammate Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh on social media site, Instagram.
India’s is currently in a good mood going 1-0 up in the six-match ODI series. They defeated host South Africa by six wickets riding on a brilliant partnership between Ajinkya Rahane and Virat Kohli in Durban.
Bowling first, India restricted South Africa for a mere 269 after a valiant hundred from their skipper Faf du Plessis. Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal did the bulk of the job bagging five wickets between each other.
In reply, Kohli scored his 33rd ODI ton to guide India home, well cushioned by Ajinkya Rahane.
Indian team members are known to share a good camaraderie with each other. They often see each other’s company on and off the field.
Ahead of the ODI series, Rohit Sharma posted a picture of him relaxing after an intense practice session along with Yuzvendra Chahal. Shardul Thakur was also in the picture, but he had no clue about the picture being clicked.
“Taking a breather after a good training session @yuzi_chahal23 @shardul_thakur,” Rohit captioned the image as he posted on his official Instagram account.
Chahal, however, decided to take a funny dig at Rohit’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh. He tagged her in his comment asking whether she was jealous that he was sitting beside her husband?
“Bhabhi jealous? @ritssajdeh,” Chahal’s comment read
Ritika also took it lightly, as she praised Chahal for reading his mind.
“@yuzi_chahal23 hahaha you read my mind,” Ritika replied.
The conversation didn’t culminate here, as Chahal responded to her saying he will take care of Rohit for one month and she should not worry about him.
“@ritssajdeh it’s ok bhabhi jus one month I will take of bhaiya till den,” his reply read.
India, who are currently 1-0 up in the series will play their second match on February 4, in Centurion.
