The Australian pacer Pat Cummins is one of the best fast bowlers going around in the world at the moment and he bagged a huge amount of money in the IPL Auction 2020. One of the reasons was his ability to keep picking up wickets at regular intervals and his performances in the last two years in all formats.

Cummins being a tall bowler generates a lot of bounce from the surface and he cranks up good speeds too. He is currently the number one bowler in test cricket and he had a good IPL season this year. He picked up 9 wickets in 7 games and also contributed 93 runs with the bat down the order. Chennai Super Kings do not have many pace bowlers in their squad and the likes of Lungi Ngidi and Josh Hazlewood have done very little damage in the bowling setup. They have lacked quality pace bowlers and the addition of an out and right fast bowler will certainly strengthen their squad.

Pat Cummins will definitely suit the Chennai Super Kings squad which has won three titles already in their history and the management does know how to get the best out of any player. Sunrisers Hyderabad:

Sunrisers Hyderabad does have a variety of Indian fast bowlers in their squad but they lacked an overseas quick who can generate pace.
