Winning the WTC final was even more joyful for the New Zealand team in the sense that they lost the ICC ODI World Cup 2019 to England. Losing another ICC tournament final would have been a very unfortunate and disappointing moment for the team.

While Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor stayed on the crease to get the winning runs for the team, other Kiwi players in the dressing room were eager for the victory.

As Ross Taylor smashed Mohammed Shami’s delivery towards the boundary to bag the winning runs for New Zealand, Kiwi players started celebrating in the dressing room. Their celebrations and excitement to become the World Test Champions was a wonderful moment to watch.
