The Indian youngster Rahul Chahar has already shown that he is ready for the big stages through his impressive performances in the few games he has played for India. With Yuvzendra Chahal being out of form, India would have to go with Chahar as the first choice leg-spin option.

Chahar is a wicket-taking bowler and he does bowl those variations to outsmart the batsman. He has been in excellent form in the IPL 2021 as he picked up 11 wickets in 7 games for the Mumbai Indians. Chahar will be a game-changer and is expected to be among the wicket-takers chart in the ICC T20 World cup 2021.

Kagiso Rabada:

Kagiso Rabada has been South Africa’s number one bowler in all the formats and he has been a revelation in the IPL for the last couple of seasons. Rabada had an excellent season in IPL 2019 for the Delhi Capitals and followed it up by taking the purple cap in IPL 2020 with 30 wickets in 17 games.

He has the pace to dismantle any batsman, and also bowls the yorkers in the death overs which is going to yield him a lot of wickets. He has played just 26 T20 internationals picking up 31 wickets at an average of 8.51. He will be one of the favorites to become the top wicket-taker in the ICC T20 World cup 2021 this year.

Trent Boult:

Trent Boult is one of the best swing bowlers going around and he is very effective in T20 cricket as he bowls two good overs in the powerplay and also bowls the tough overs at the back end of the innings. The left-arm seamer has been very consistent for Mumbai Indians in the IPL and has gained a lot of confidence in T20 cricket.

Boult has the pace and is very precise with his line and lengths in the shortest formats too. He has picked up 46 wickets in 34 international games so far at an economy rate of 8.53 which is decent enough. He will always be a contender for the highest wicket-taker in the ICC T20 Worldcup 2021.

Jasprit Bumrah:

Jasprit Bumrah is one of the major threats for the opposing teams that face India and he has a big role to play in the bowling attack. Bumrah’s numbers in T20 cricket are so good with 59 wickets in 50 T20 internationals and he has already become one of the best bowlers in the world at the moment.

The right-arm quick can be very lethal in the back end of the innings with his yorkers and variations while he has a unique action making it very difficult for the batsman to face. He will be one of the top contenders for the highest wicket-taker in the ICC T20 World cup 2021.

Rashid Khan is ranked number two in the ICC T20 rankings for bowlers and his stats in the format have been staggering so far. The right arm leg spinner from Afghanistan has picked up 95 wickets in 51 T20 internationals at an average of just 12.6. His economy rate has been just 6.21 which is mind-blowing.

Rashid Khan keeps hitting the good lengths and is very quick in the air which makes it hard for the batsmen to read his deliveries. He doesn’t bowl many bad deliveries and has been in fine form in the IPL too for the Sunrisers Hyderabad for the last two to three years. He is expected to be the top wicket-taker in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.
