New Zealand is coming into this series on the back of a victory in the T20I tri-series featuring Zimbabwe and South Africa in July.

New Zealand has not lost a T20I series since the loss against Australia in February last year. The Black Caps have won their last three T20I assignments and will be backing themselves to extend the winning run.
