Hardik Pandya is not the only professional cricketer from his family. His elder brother, Krunal Pandya is also a professional cricketer.
Just like his younger brother, Krunal has also played in domestic and international cricket as well as the IPL. He plays for Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL and Baroda in domestic cricket.

Just like Hardik, Krunal is also one of the most sought-after all-rounders in the country. He has been one of the best all-rounders in the IPL in the last few years. He made his first-class debut in 2016 and it did not take him long to become a key member of the Baroda side.
In the same season, he was Baroda's highest run-scorer as well as wicket-taker in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Krunal scored 366 runs in 8 matches including 3 half-centuries and picked up 11 wickets. Later, he also led Baroda.
Krunal's journey in the IPL began in 2016 when Mumbai Indians signed up him for INR 2 crore. He made his IPL debut against the now-defunct Gujarat Lions and soon became a regular in the Mumbai side thanks to his consistent all-round displays.
In his maiden season, Krunal scored 237 runs and picked up 6 wickets. He played for Mumbai Indians from 2016 to 2021.
Later in 2022, Lucknow Super Giants bought him for INR 8.25 crores. So far, Krunal has played 127 games in the IPL and has scored 1647 runs in addition to taking 76 wickets.
In 2018, Krunal made his debut for Team India during the home T20I series against West Indies.
In 2021, he made his ODI debut as well. So far, he has 5 ODIs and 19 T20Is for India. He has scored 130 runs and picked up 2 wickets in ODIs. In T20Is, Krunal has scored 124 runs and taken 15 wickets.
