Hardik Pandya is an Indian all-rounder who plays for Team India in international cricket. A right-handed middle-order batsman and a right-arm pacer, Pandya represents Baroda in domestic cricket and Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.
Hardik Pandya was married to Serbian actress and model Natasa Stankovic. They tied the knot in 2020 and have a son as well. However, Pandya and Natasa separated in 2024.
Natasa Stankovic biography:
Natasa Stankovic was born to Goran and Radmila Stankovic on 4 March 1992, in Pozarevac, Republic of Serbia, Yugoslavia (Serbia). She has a sibling as well, a brother named Nenad Stankovic.
She came to India in 2012 to pursue a career in acting and quickly established herself as a model. Her first major modeling assignment was with Johnson & Johnson.
In 2013, she bagged her first movie as she appeared in the Bollywood film Satyagraha, directed by Prakash Jha. In the movie, she appeared in the dance number "Aiyo Ji" opposite Ajay Devgn.
In 2014, Natasa also appeared in the reality show Bigg Boss 8. She stayed in the house for a month before being eliminated. Natasa finally gained popularity in India after appearing in the dance number "DJ Waley Babu" sung by Aastha Gill and Badshah.
A couple of years later in 2016, Natasa made an appearance in the film 7 Hours to Go, directed by Saurabh Varma. She played the role of a cop in the movie. She also danced in the Bollywood movie 'Fukrey Returns'.
In 2018, Natasa did a cameo in the film Zero, starring Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif. She also appeared in the web series The Holiday by Zoom Studios alongside Adah Sharma. Natasa was later seen in the dance reality television series Nach Baliye 9. She has not been seen in any movie or show since getting married.
Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic love story and wedding:
Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic first met each other during a party in 2018. Pandya was already one of India's most important players at that time.
In an interview, Pandya revealed that Natasa did not know about him and that he managed to impress her with his talking.
"I got her by talking. She saw someone in a hat at a place where I met her, wearing a hat, a chain, and a watch, at 1 am. So she thought ‘alag prakaar ka aadmi aaya'," Pandya had said.
They dated each other for two years before Hardik took the internet by storm by announcing his engagement with Natasa on New Year's Day in 2020. He had popped the question on a yacht. On his engagement, Pandya had said:
“My parents also didn’t know that I was getting engaged. Two days before (the engagement), I told Krunal. I told him, ‘I have had enough. I have found someone in my life who I love, and I am becoming better. They (family) backed me and said ‘Do whatever you want."
Later in May 2020, they tied the knot amidst the COVID-19 lockdown. Natasa and Hardik Pandya's wedding date is May 31, 2020. Pandya also announced that is expecting a baby and the couple welcomed their first child two months later.
Natasa and Hardik Pandya's son, Agastya was born on 30 July 2020. On 14 February 2023, Pandya and Natasa renewed their wedding vows at an extravagant ceremony in Udaipur.
Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic's divorce:
Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic officially announced their separation in July 2024. Just before they publicly announced their separation, Natasa had returned to Serbia.
"After 4 years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect, and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family," the couple said in the joint statement.
"We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both of our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness."
