Dale Steyn, Chris Gayle, Waqar Younis And Other Legends Name Their Finalists For ICC World Cup 2023

Former cricketers including Chris Gayle, Dale Steyn, Shane Watson, and others have named their finalists for the ICC World Cup 2023. The event will begin from 5th October in India and hopefully, it will end all the talks related to the future of the 50-over format. 

The warmup fixtures for the ICC World Cup 2023 have begun. The games so far have been enthralling and they have given the real teaser of what’s about to come. With the main tournament around the corner, former cricketers have picked their finalists for the event. The summit clash of the ICC World Cup 2023 will be played on 19th November. 

Former South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis backed India to reach the final alongside England Whereas Chris Gayle predicted that arch-rivals India and Pakistan will be crossing swords with each other in the summit clash at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. 

Shane Watson being Australian picked his national team to play the final alongside hosts India. Dinesh Karthik and Muttiah Muralitharan batted for India and Pakistani whereas Faf Du Plessis was confused about picking other finalists alongside India in World Cup. He rooted for one between Australia and New Zealand to play the last game. 

Waqar Younis and Dale Steyn were on the same page as they picked India and England to reach the final. The Men in Blue and South Africa will enter the final as per former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan. 

Sanjay Manjrekar and Piyush Chawla both had India as their finalists but they picked Australia and England as another team respectively. Aaron Finch, however, was the only one who didn’t pick India as his finalists. The former Australian captain backed Australia and South Africa.
