Jasprit Bumrah’s injury has taken Indian Cricket by storm. As reported he has a back stress fracture which would rule him out for quite a long time. BCCI is doing its best to make sure that Bumrah takes a part in T20 World Cup 2022 as he is a vital part of the team and it won’t be wrong to say that he is the ‘X’ factor of Team India.

Bumrah was expected to take a part in South Africa T20I Series as what could have been his last T20I Assignment before T20 World Cup. Siraj has been named the replacement of Bumrah in the ongoing T20I Series against South Africa. It would be interesting to see whether Siraj gets a game as he has shown a lot of potential.

Great Opportunity for Youngsters

The likes of Avesh Khan would be aware that he could get a chance in the playing 11 in the upcoming T20 World Cup. As Siraj has been named the replacement for South Africa Series; there are chances that he could get drafted into the squad in the 11th hour as we all know how BCCI kept Shami on the standby list and not included him in the main squad.

The management has a strenuous task on their hands as once again they have to work out a new combination for T20 World Cup 2022. It would be fascinating to see how Arshdeep performs as he will have to take some sort of responsibility. The management needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat and make a mark in the Ta 20 World Cup 2022.
