Nitin Menon, an official from India, will be one of the 16 officials overseeing the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia. The lone Indian member of the ICC Elite Panel, Menon, has already arrived in Australia.

The First Round and Super 12s stages of the competition will include 20 match officials, as per the ICC.

A total of 16 umpires will preside over the competition; the umpires in charge of 2021 final, in which the hosts of this year’s event won their first ICC Men’s T20 World Cup championship, were Richard Kettleborough, Nitin Menon, Kumar Dharmasena, and Marais Erasmus.

The 16 officials chosen for this competition, which was played in the United Arab Emirates and Oman last year, are a seasoned group.

They are joined by Australian David Boon, Zimbabwean Andrew Pycroft, and Englishmen Christopher Broad and Madugalle from Sri Lanka.
