Ravi Shastri, a former India coach, praised Suryakumar Yadav, calling him a true 360-degree player. The current ICC Men’s T20 World Cup has seen Suryakumar in outstanding form.

Shastri asserted that he is a true 360-degree player and claimed that there aren’t many players who can hit places the way he does.

“There aren’t many guys that can hit places as he does. Simply by looking at how he moves and the areas he attempts to hit, he is a true 360-degree player “Shastri stated.

Ravi Shastri continued by saying that Suryakumar’s unusual ball placement makes it more difficult for the bowler to do their job.

“He is unique, which is why I think that he is able to play all three game types.”

“He strikes the ball in strange places, he adopts unusual positions, and the bowler is actually challenged as to where he can throw the ball. He has the ability to pierce any section of the earth “Ravi Shastri tacked on.

He is lighting up this World Cup: Ravi Shastri

The former all-rounder for India claimed that Suryakumar is dominating the T20 World Cup by making plays that no one could have predicted ten years ago.

“He is lighting up this World Cup and he is playing shots which 10 years ago no one would have imagined. His great ability is to read what length the bowler is bowling, he anticipates early and he backs himself and very few players go out with that kind of mindset,” said Ravi Shastri.

Suryakumar has been in outstanding form for India during this World Cup. In India’s 5-run victory over Bangladesh, he played a fast-paced inning of 30 runs off 16 balls to contribute to their total of 184/6.

The Indian player has scored more than 900 runs in the shortest format this year, and in the most recent ICC rankings, he has surpassed Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan to take the top spot among T20I players.
