I think knockout games are important: Rohit Sharma

The Indian captain discussed the significance of these knockout matches and claimed that a poor knockout game cannot define the careers of committed cricketers who have long served Indian cricket.

“I believe that knockout games are vital. Because you only get to play once, and you only have one chance to do well in that knockout game. However, for players, what they have done throughout their careers does not define them. You know you work so hard all year to accomplish well in any format you choose to play” Rohit Sharma said.

“So that one game isn’t going to decide anything. “I believe we recognize the value of knockout, but it’s also important to realize how much work you put in over the course of a year to get to that point,” Rohit Added.

On Thursday, November 10, at the Adelaide Oval, India and a tough England lineup will square off in the semifinal match. The legendary Melbourne Cricket Ground will host the India-Pakistan T20 World Cup final on November 13.
