Legendary cricketer Greg Chappell praised former India captain Virat Kohli, praising him as the greatest Indian batsman of all time.

In the nail-biting last over at the MCG, India defeated Pakistan by 4 wickets with Kohli still undefeated on 82 from 53 balls.

When India plays South Africa in their Group 2 Super 12 encounter in the current T20 World Cup in Australia, all eyes will be on Virat Kohli once more. With undefeated fifty scores against Pakistan and the Netherlands, Kohli has been in magnificent form thus far in the competition.

In the first game at the Melbourne Cricket Ground against Pakistan, the former India captain produced a match-winning 82 not out, and in the second game at the Sydney Cricket Ground, he hit an undefeated 62 against the Netherlands. Kohli has a number of goals in mind for the encounter between South Africa and India.

Speaking of Kohli, the 33-year-old has participated in 23 games and has amassed 989 runs at a mind-boggling average of 89.9, including 12 half-centuries. At the Asia Cup against Afghanistan last month, Kohli scored his first T20I century.

Legendary cricketer Greg Chappell praised former India captain Virat Kohli, praising him as the greatest Indian batsman of all time. Chappell made his comments after Kohli scored a magnificent inning at the MCG against Pakistan under the leadership of Babar Azam.

The Indian team’s talisman batsman scored a quick-fire half-century to prevent a rare batting collapse under Rohit Sharma.

“Kohli is the complete Indian batsman I’ve ever seen. Only the most powerful champions have the fortitude and intelligence to take their imagination beyond the mortal level. Kohli possesses it. Perhaps only Tiger Pataudi has come close to reaching such heights,” Chappell said in his Sydney Morning Herald column.

India defeated Pakistan in a nail-biting last over by 4 wickets as Kohli remained unbeaten on 82 off 53 balls. Due to his outstanding batting performance, the 33-year-old was chosen Player of the Match.
