Rishabh Pant Not Playing In Gabba?: Twitter Reacts As Rishabh Pant Is Left Out Of India's Playing XI For The Warm-Up Match Against Australia

Rohit Sharma and his team will continue playing more warm-up games before the T20 World Cup. However, Rishabh Pant is not currently in the plans.
Meanwhile, Australia recently lost a T20 series to England 2-0, with the third T20I being rained out. The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 warm-up match between India and Australia will begin at 9:30 a.m. (IST). On October 23, India takes on archrival Pakistan in the tournament opener.
He has not done himself any favors with his declining T20 performance. The team management has already lost faith in Pant as evidenced by India giving Dinesh Karthik the big gloves despite Pant being on the lineup. Rishabh Pant’s inclusion in India’s starting XI for the October 23 match against Pakistan is therefore unlikely, barring any last-minute injuries.
Pant scored 9 runs in each of India’s two warm-up games against Western Australia XI. Even though, Dinesh Karthik did not perform any better in either of those two matches, he has done enough to keep himself off the starting XI, at least for this T20 World Cup.
Twitter Wasn’t very pleased with Rishabh Pant missing out, here is how they reacted:

At lease pant should have been given chances to bat in practice matches to get the touch!! But what will be more disappointing that if they get him chance to play in important matches after failure of main players!!
They are destroying his career— PANTASTIC (@PantasticRishab) October 17, 2022

Dinesh Karthik has played 19 innings and faced just 181 deliveries while scoring 273 runs. Pant has 338 runs in 17 innings, but that is not the role Team India wants him to play. Karthik has performed admirably as the finisher, with a strike rate of 150.82. Even though Pant has a score of 136.84, the team management does not like his position at No. 5.
