Shaheen Shah Afridi, a prominent Pakistani bowler, is getting ready to compete in the ICC T20 World Cup. The Pakistani speedster is eager to make a great return to his squad after missing the Asia Cup due to a knee injury.

Shaheen Afridi, one of the Pakistani team’s deadly pacers, plans to wreak havoc on the competition at the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup. Shaheen Afridi was seen working out in the gym and sweating it out with a few weeks left until the T20 World Cup squad announcement.

Shaheen Shah Afridi posted a video to his YouTube channel to show his followers his development. To strengthen and recuperate from his knee injuries, the speedster was seen lifting weights, performing squats, and performing other leg exercises.

Afridi sustained the right knee ligament injury while fielding during the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle in July.

“The PCB medical team has been receiving daily reports over the knee injury status of Shaheen and we expect the bowler will be there with the national team to play against India on October 23 in the World Cup match,” PCB’s chief executive officer Faisal Hasnain told Dawn.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, who missed the Asia Cup due to a knee injury, is eager to return to his team.
