T20 World Cup 2022: "Pakistan Have Relied More On Foreign Coaches": Javed Miandad Makes A Shocking Statement After Pakistan Loose The T20 World Cup

Former Pakistan skipper Javed Miandad made an explosive claim concerning the presence of foreign coaches on the current team’s support staff.
Pakistan was defeated by England by five wickets in the 2022 T20 World Cup final on Sunday in Melbourne.
In the tournament, Pakistan was given to bat first. Only Shan Masood and Babar Azam scored more than 30 runs for Pakistan, and the Pakistani batters were never able to get going as the English bowlers tightened the screws and held them to a very low total of 137/8. Adil Rashid also claimed two wickets, and Sam Curran concluded with final scores of 3/12.
As the pacers took early wickets, Pakistani bowlers made life difficult for the English batters. Ben Stokes, who is England’s go-to guy for big moments, though, produced his first half-century in the game’s shortest format as he led England to victory. When Shaheen Afridi hurt his knee and couldn’t bowl his final two overs, the game also took a significant turn.
Miandad made the suggestion that Pakistan has been using foreign coaches more recently. The side currently has Matthew Hayden serving as the team’s mentor and Shaun Tait serving as the bowling coach.
“Board tries to save itself with such hiring”: Javed Miandad
The former head coach of Pakistan also pondered the fate of the present team’s players in light of the management’s growing preference for foreign coaches.
“We have played County, but those who are playing right now, what’s their future?,” said Miandad on Cricket Pakistan.
Javed Miandadbecame rather irritated when the anchor mentioned that Veron Philander was also a member of the support staff during the T20 World Cup the previous year.
“Bring them to the studio, we will ask them questions. We also want to know what they know about cricket, Board tries to save itself with such hiring” Javed Miandad said.
England becomes the first team in history to hold the ODI and T20 World Cups at the same time.
