IND vs AFG 2024

The India National Cricket Team will begin their home season in 2024 with the historic IND vs AFG T20I series. The Afghanistan tour of India 2024 will consist of three T20Is. The India vs Afghanistan T20I series will just be the second bilateral series between the two nations.

In 2018, India welcomed Afghanistan for a historic one-off Test match. It was Afghanistan's first-ever Test match after they were granted Test status by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The forthcoming IND vs AFG 2024 series marks the first instance of India and Afghanistan engaging in a multi-match white-ball series.

The series will give Ind and Afg Teams the opportunity to prepare for the highly-anticipated ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament 2024, scheduled to be held in June in the Caribbeans and the United States of America. The India vs Afghanistan series is also Team India's last T20I assignment before the T20 World Cup. On the other hand, Afghanistan will play one more series against Sri Lanka before the marquee event.

IND vs AFG Schedule 2024:

The Afghanistan vs India series is scheduled to be played from January 11 to 17. The first India vs Afghanistan match is scheduled to take place in Mohali on January 11 before both teams move to Indore for the second game on January 3. The last IND vs AFG match will be played on January 17 in Bengaluru.
