BCCI Names SBI Life As Official Partner For 2023-26 Season

On Wednesday, September 20, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced SBI Life as the Official Partner for the 2023-26 season for both domestic and international cricket.
SBI Life Insurance Company Limited is an Indian life insurance company, which was founded in March 2001. SBI Life started as a joint venture between the State Bank of India (SBI) and French financial institution BNP Paribas Cardif and currently SBI has a 55.50% stake in the company.
The deal between SBI Life and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), which has been signed for three years, is set to begin with the upcoming three-match ODI series between India and Australia, which precedes the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
Team India recently won the Asia Cup 2023 and their next challenge is against Australia. The ODI series opener will be held on September 22 at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh. The second ODI is set to be hosted by the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on September 24 and the third and final match of the series will be held at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot on September 27.

In an official statement released by the governing body, the BCCI president Roger Binny, President said that they are thrilled to join hands with SBI Life. He said:
“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with SBI Life as the official partner of BCCI for both domestic and international cricket. SBI Life has been one of the torchbearers in the insurance sector and we are looking to build a solid partnership to take Indian cricket forward.”
The BCCI secretary Jay Shah said that they are delighted to sign a 3-year deal with SBI Life ahead of the World Cup at home. He said:
“We are delighted to welcome SBI Life on board as an Official Partner for BCCI’s Domestic and International Season for the course of the next three years, ahead of the prestigious ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. SBI Life’s commitment to excellence aligns perfectly with BCCI’s vision for cricket. This collaboration reflects our commitment to promoting and supporting the sport of cricket at all levels. We look forward to a fruitful partnership that will enhance the cricketing experience for fans and players alike.”
Ravindra Sharma, Chief of Brand, Corporate Communication, and CSR, SBI Life Insurance, also commented on the deal, saying that they are looking forward to the partnership between SBI Life and BCCI. Sharma said:
