Happy For Suryakumar Yadav – Virender Sehwag

Virender Sehwag took to his social media handle, X (formerly known as Twitter), to post an appreciative message about Suryakumar Yadav, describing him as an ‘X-factor’ for India. Sehwag emphasized that Suryakumar’s aggressive play can create fear among the opposition.

“Happy for @surya_14kumar. He is surely an ex-factor. Not many players have the ability to play in the gear that he can and he surely has the game to create fear in the minds of opposition. Great that we have persisted with him and he will be an asset. Congratulations Bharat,” Sehwag wrote.

Suryakumar Yadav Didn’t Play Single Sweep Shot – Sanjay Manjrekar

Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar praised Suryakumar Yadav for his disciplined batting in the match. Manjrekar said that Surya didn’t play a single sweep shot, which is a significant step in his commitment to establishing himself in 50-over cricket.

“Another important box named SKY got ticked for Ind tonight. That Surya didn’t play single sweep shot in the whole innings exemplified his commitment to making a name for himself in 50 overs cricket too,” Manjrekar wrote.

Suryakumar came to the crease when the team’s score was 185/4. He added an 80-run crucial partnership with interim skipper KL Rahul for the fifth wicket, helping the team recover after losing quick wickets. He got out to Sean Abbott when the team needed 12 runs.
