IND vs BAN: Abhimanyu Easwaran Likely To Join The India Squad for Bangladesh Test In Chattogram After Finishing His Second A Test In Sylhet- Reports

Abhimanyu Easwaran Set To Be Called As Skipper Rohit Sharma’s Cover

Easwaran could be picked as the cover for Rohit, while stand-in captain KL Rahul and youngster Shubman Gill will open India’s innings in the two red-ball games in Chattogram and Dhaka.

”Abhimanyu Easwaran has scored back-to-back hundreds in the ongoing A Test series and is an opener. In all likelihood, he will join the squad in Chattogram after finishing his second A Test in Sylhet,” a senior BCCI source told PTI on conditions of anonymity.

Abhimanyu Easwaran has a successful track record in the Indian domestic circuit. In 77 first-class matches, the 27-year-old has scored 5419 runs at an average of 44.41.
