India were on top at the end of day 2 in the 5th Test at Edgbaston. Half of the English side was cleaned by India on what was a rain truncated day.

But there was still Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes at the crease. Two batters who have been at the forefront of a new batting revolution that England have brought to their Test game in the last month or so.

Jasprit Bumrah had picked up 3 wickets, Mohammad Shami and Mohammed Siraj had picked up 1 each, and most overs were bowled by Shami and Bumrah yet when day 3 began, Shami and Bumrah were at the English batters yet again.

In fact, before Bumrah pull off a blinder of a catch to dismiss the English captain on the bowling of Shardul Thakur. He was dropped by the Indian captain a ball before. But Bumrah made up for it by pulling off arguably the best catch of his career.

England are still more than 2oo runs behind and India would hope to dismiss them as soon as possible and would hope that they can put a stiff target in front of England.

England have chased more than 250 runs in their last 3 Tests.
