The cricketing community was advised by Sikandar Raza not to discuss the 33-year-old batter’s performance.

“I do not believe I am prepared or wise enough to counsel a man with more than 20,000 career runs. How should I approach him? I have nothing to say to him.”

“If anything, I can remain silent, expect others to do the same, and let the man live in peace. Just let him be, and maybe he will find his feet soon “Added he.

Over the past eight to ten years, Virat Kohli has been one of the most reliable players in all formats. However, his recent form slump has generated a lot of discussions, with both present and former cricketers weighing in on Kohli’s recent problems.

His place in the Indian team has come under scrutiny as the T20 World Cup approaches later in the year. Sikandar Raza, a Zimbabwean batter, has defended Kohli despite criticism.

“As much as fitness and XYZ were important components of cricket, I think the way he advanced that aspect for future generations to follow is laudable, and people should give him ample credit for it.”

“He is the best all-format player in my opinion, and that has nothing to do with his stats, his accomplishments, his struggles, or his plans; I am simply talking generally here,” Raza told Anis Sajan on his YouTube channel.

On August 18, the first ODI of India’s 2022 tour to Zimbabwe will take place. On August 20 and 22, respectively, the second and third ODIs will be played. The Harare Sports Club in Harare will serve as the venue for all of the games.
