CSK vs DC: Twitter Reacts As Bowlers, Devon Conway Help CSK Win IPL 2022 Game Comfortably Over DC

The 55th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 was played between MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals (DC) on Sunday, May 8 at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai.
Chennai Super Kings won the match by 91 runs against Delhi Capitals to win their 4th game of the Indian Premier League 2022 and Delhi Capitals were handed over their 6th defeat.

Earlier, Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to field first and they made two changes to the playing XI as Axar Patel and KS Bharat replaced Lalit Yadav and Mandeep Singh in the team.
On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings made a forced change as Ravindra Jadeja was unfit and he was replaced by Shivam Dube also Dwayne Bravo replaced Dwaine Pretorius in the playing XI.
Ex-CSK pacer Shardul Thakur opened the attack for Delhi Capitals against CSK openers; Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad and he gave away just 5 runs.
Chennai Super Kings had 3 big overs of 15,14 and 14 runs in the powerplay as a result they were able to score 57 runs in the first 6 overs. Also, the openers completed 50 partnership runs in 35 balls.
Devon Conway smashed his third consecutive fifty of the season off 27 balls, including 3 fours and 4 sixes. Proteas pacer Anrich Nortje broke the 110-run partnership between the CSK openers by dismissing Ruturaj Gaikwad for 41 in the 11th over.
At one stage it looked like Devon Conway will complete his century but Khaleel Ahmed was able to dismiss Conway on the third ball of the 17th over to make sure that the CSK opener doesn’t score his maiden IPL century.
Conway’s innings ended at 87 runs off 49 balls, including 7 fours and 5 sixes. Then, CSK lost 4 quick wickets but MS Dhoni’s cameo knock helped them post 208/6 on the board.
Delhi Capitals, while chasing the target lost the wicket of opener KS Bharat for 8 in the second over. DC’s man in-form David Warner, who is the highest run-getter for the side in the Indian Premier League 2022, was dismissed by Theekshana on the second ball of the 5th over, which led to the Pant’s arrival at the crease. Pant played aggressively but was dismissed by Moeen Ali for 21.
Then, Delhi Capitals lost wickets at regular intervals and they were bundled out for 117. Notably, all-rounder, Mitchell Marsh top-scored for the side as he scored 25 runs off 20 balls.
