KL Rahul ditches Lucknow as he names his IPL home

KL Rahul shared his love for Chinnaswamy Stadium ahead of Lucknow Super Giants’ upcoming clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in IPL 2024. KL Rahul said playing at Chinnaswamy Stadium is always special for him. RCB is set to take on LSG at home in Bengaluru.
The match takes place on Tuesday, April 2. Faf du Plessis leads Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL 2024. KL Rahul is the skipper of Lucknow Super Giants. However, he played as an impact player in the last match due to a niggle. As a result, Nicholas Pooran arrived for the toss and led the side in the match.
Lucknow Super Giants has played 2 games in IPL 2024, winning one and losing one. LSG lost to Rajasthan Royals by 20 runs in their opening game. However, they bounced back by crushing Punjab Kings in their last match by 21 runs. With 2 points, LSG takes the 6th spot in the points table.

Speaking ahead of their clash against RCB in Bengaluru, KL Rahul said playing at Chinnaswamy Stadium is always special for him as it’s his home. He also said that the atmosphere at the Bengaluru Stadium is electrifying.
“Playing at the Chinnaswamy Stadium is always special for me. It’s a home for me, the atmosphere here is always electrifying. Coming to Bengaluru with a lot of love. My journey as a cricketer all started here and there are so many memories attached to this ground,” KL Rahul said.
Meanwhile, KL Rahul took part in practice sessions ahead of the RCB vs LSG encounter. Rahul faced a niggle in the previous game. However, it looks like he will be part of the match against RCB. Have a look at the video below.

KL Rahal got out cheaply in the last game
KL Rahul failed to come up with a good show in the previous clash vs Punjab Kings. The right-handed batter lost his wicket for 15 runs. However, he came up with a better show in the earlier clash against Rajasthan Royals, hitting a 58-run knock. However, his slow innings off 44 balls did not emerge fruitful as LSG lost the match by 20 runs in the end.
The Lucknow franchise outplayed Punjab Kings by 21 runs in their previous match of IPL 2024. Batting first, they posted a mammoth 199-8 on the scoreboard with crucial knocks by Quinton de Kock (54), Nicholas Pooran (42), and Krunal Pandya (43*). Later, they halted the Punjab Kings at 178-5 to grab their first win of IPL 2024.
